Ofsted Performance

Sandlings Primary is a GOOD school

Our school was inspected under a new framework which was introduced in September 2019 and we are all thrilled with the overall judgement of GOOD and all the positive comments throughout the report, which reflect our ethos of being a “unique and nurturing school, where everyone belongs and thrives”.

Comments in the report include:

“Pupils feel part of the school from the moment they join. They feel they are listened to and their voice is heard”

“Pupils respond to high expectations teachers have of them. Pupils are encouraged to be independent and to think for themselves”

“The school’s curriculum is ambitious and well thought through”

“We ensure that pupils develop a love of reading”

“We provide very well for pupils’ personal development”

During the inspection our pupils were amazing, as ever; they were polite, well behaved and talked to the two inspectors with enthusiasm and confidence about their school and their learning, making us all extremely proud.

Our staff are an incredible team, who have worked hard developing our curriculum, making learning fun, enjoyable and challenging for everyone, whilst putting the care and welfare of all our pupils at the centre of all that we do.
