Sandlings Primary is a GOOD school
We are all incredibly proud of our latest OFSTED report (June 2025) and what the report says about Sandlings. It reflects the hard work of our fantastic team, the enthusiasm and positivity of our wonderful children, and the encouragement and support from Parents and Carers.
The inspection highlighted many strengths. One of our favourite lines from the report is that “pupils love their school” . The children turn up each morning excited to learn, delighted to see their friends, and proud to be part of Sandlings. The report described our school as “caring, nurturing, and having a family feel”
Some other highlights from the report:
- Pupils behave exceptionally well, work hard, and show real pride in what they do.
- The curriculum is carefully designed to support every child, including those with SEND and those who join us mid-year.
- Reading is a real strength across the school, with a love of books and fluent reading starting from the earliest years.
- Staff are knowledgeable, dedicated and passionate about helping every child succeed.
- The school prioritises pupils’ personal development well and this is a strength of the school.
- Pupils feel safe, respected, and valued. They look out for one another, show kindness, and take real pride in upholding the school values.
